Duties

- c- b$ x" [7 g8 p, r* E    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
  w0 x5 x8 w! w9 H+ Q1 r4 \    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
$ h/ W3 i' W* y    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
# \& g. |( E4 [: I+ S6 `/ }    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
$ U6 B& \& Q+ e% V, U/ ?# c9 L  U    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

    i think you misunderstood the meaning of GC-MS. It is not GM, it's about chemstry analysis.oh, my god!

3 f9 W0 f( [0 s* }Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

ti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
