/ ?+ g- Q9 f" R. I/ q5 g8 w/ K    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
; I* Q# U5 I, ?* Q; [% ?    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
* E. H/ s& C: ~  D# ]6 i% l/ `    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
, L2 y9 R: X: h    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
6 U" t- p7 r) L    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
    * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs
    * Assists in the upkeep of safety procedures and information; completes routine checks on safety equipment

    * Technical Diploma required; a BSc is preferred
    * Minimum of one year of related experience in some aspect of analytical mass spectrometry is required

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。


好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.
