Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
6 Y2 u, c, s2 F# ]7 e( E( y- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
7 y, e3 |/ _" e' r1 c% ]- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

1 c4 W3 N  g) K  W$ r& }8 N, E
: Z2 r( }: w* ?! `3 L9 u- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
1 _. u. Y- l  f: y% y- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
9 v* p- E0 U8 z0 s( K& N- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
  {0 Z& j, q+ Q  R6 i) M; D+ _- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
) J! k1 d: R, i* }/ T- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
