Job Description
: O; s( `6 I6 R5 G+ SSummer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
; r8 V6 D& V2 G$ AResponsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- D; L) b8 w/ H* a+ }; P% [! q- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
( _* j3 L/ x8 H: s7 B7 r1 y
1 i- \. Y8 w% a) Z/ g8 L( W2 U- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
9 e, j1 [- Q3 |6 P9 u- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
: M5 J; b2 ^( ]) j; ^0 G" E& a- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
5 i3 v6 \! b! S. c  `2 ^- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
& L3 M4 S# ?. @9 _/ W- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
$ q2 o. b9 n5 J- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
