Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

/ Z1 r8 B* O3 {; l; Q- Organize focus group(s)
8 A3 Z+ g- p% f' m  `: ~+ R- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
7 q' \+ ~  c, F6 B4 f- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
) B" P, Q, I, I0 A* d- f+ k- Find sponsors to enhance program
  T# Y8 L3 [- i5 H' S, W- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
% \& s, b# D8 {- communication skills
$ ^; o; \1 A' x% R* x8 E- i8 l1 q6 j/ j* I- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
" ~5 s0 u$ G: k* _$ D- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
: ~8 K' J0 w. F  u) l$ n; n- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
