A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care./ J( I# B! l: a, V$ d! O* K" E
This program is designed to provide participants with the skills and! E }6 g+ N5 Q$ D' ?- ~
knowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.

• Orientation Course for Child Care Staff (Level 1)( C. I, x; a i$ _+ [
• Standard Child Care First Aid5 u+ W3 l* f7 K6 o4 ^
• WHMIS
( n& B" }9 h. |/ l8 ]• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care9 g1 |/ v8 b; F' d7 N
• Components to improve communication skills
, c" O% L/ Z& A* N' A: K• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search/ d3 F& l9 b0 s' K7 x! s( M" {
• Practicum Placements4 y, P; U6 r1 p/ r( {
Eligibility Criteria! j; z1 L$ c; L. E
• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen
t F- n, e, q8 v& D# \- }of Canada
# k8 A9 G: Z3 h j• have a Social Insurance Number+ U% y* g& K2 D; ?/ d. M" Q
• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check
7 c- y/ L& h) v. L• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent5 \ X. u U/ S; I/ L8 l
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time

the following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:
