, T6 N E& W- Y' r K s1 D) f: KThe contractors charged are the Compass Group of Canada, which ran the camps, and Rodney McCabe, whose now-defunct company operated the two wastewater plants.

Environment Minister Rob Renner says the charges were laid after a routine audit found problems with the sewage discharge into the Athabasca River., t9 O- x6 u' J A1 I6 _
O, X! J7 G3 u) K F5 TMcCabe and Compass are refusing comment, but a Suncor spokesman says the sewage likely had very little impact on the water quality in the river.
