FORT MCMURRAY, Alta. - Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU) and two of its contractors are headed to court next month after being charged with dumping partially-treated sewage from two work camps into a northern Alberta river.! ?# V% c+ L9 U

The contractors charged are the Compass Group of Canada, which ran the camps, and Rodney McCabe, whose now-defunct company operated the two wastewater plants.' x l' g% ]( I0 b4 S8 b# H

The charges laid last year under Alberta's Environmental Protection Act include failing to properly treat wastewater and providing false or misleading information to the environment ministry.( T( A: z3 }8 a1 P' G# ~
