The contractors charged are the Compass Group of Canada, which ran the camps, and Rodney McCabe, whose now-defunct company operated the two wastewater plants.; g0 P3 ?5 d# {7 ^: p

The charges laid last year under Alberta's Environmental Protection Act include failing to properly treat wastewater and providing false or misleading information to the environment ministry.0 i$ X! X6 v# F$ w$ p: K7 [; Q
