The contractors charged are the Compass Group of Canada, which ran the camps, and Rodney McCabe, whose now-defunct company operated the two wastewater plants.- l4 G8 |' v) y& R& S6 D
. q7 k% B- L6 C+ s0 V* G6 XThe charges laid last year under Alberta's Environmental Protection Act include failing to properly treat wastewater and providing false or misleading information to the environment ministry.2 C9 @# i1 N) @* @6 O
