As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
/ _( j( I- i* d- w; PAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:+ w( K) e6 U. c
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. - }9 }& i, R1 a( }+ |; }
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
2 C7 G- ~' F g4 D& xPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. % k% ^; h. n# r5 [' r
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
7 k- m9 }& Y& j* a- L, WSupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.

Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. 7 q2 s* Z) h+ B, p2 N) b2 }
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. 7 D: X. y: p5 X& C( J, f
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
1 v. d5 u- B% N# v Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
% i& {. ?& y" P• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
' ]9 i0 z: _9 A5 F• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.% g5 ^) m0 s' v( g7 E
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.9 y3 s) I$ |3 z2 `# t
• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
