HIV Edmonton is looking for a Fund Development Coordinator. This is a "hands-on" position dealing with HIV Edmonton donors, staff and volunteers on a daily basis. The primary responsibility is to develop and implement the overall fundraising strategy for HIVE." y+ o7 B, U0 N" e' r

Key Responsibilities: lead in the creation of a Fund Development Department in meeting its income targets for revenue and capital through existing/new fundraising activities; develop strategies for significant growth in income to fund new programs and projects; represent HIV Edmonton externally and to build high-level support for its work. v7 k& F4 i6 j" V) n

PLUS: effective coordination, delivery and logistical administration of all fundraising events; secure/confirm event logistics, sponsors, prizes, supplies, and volunteers need to run fundraising events. Specific events at this time include: Scotia Bank AIDS Walk for Life and a casino in the fall.: e# e8 m7 m# Q* W6 ?4 D4 A
' t- X! p2 ?( y0 M. sIn addition: enhance HIV Edmonton' fund development volunteer base and improve volunteer training and support processes; maintain systems and processes for monitoring income and expenditure on a monthly basis and to generate quarterly forecasts; manage the development of all high level fundraising relationships and ensures/supports the involvement of the Executive Director, where appropriate.$ T% O# [& y H: `6 i

PLUS: oversees the management and development of the donor dBase; ensure compliance with all Canada Customs Revenue Agency (CCRA) regulations, data protection regulatory requirements and to promote best practice in fund raising.7 H8 H7 ?% C- E* A8 o
