The City of Edmonton Bylaw #13145 defines a "restricted dog" as any dog:

M) }( \ V) h' S3 A2 TThat has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal causing physical injury and resulting in a conviction under this bylaw 9 W& s% {. f3 x, n0 Q& }& N3 C& {
That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal on more than one occasion, with or without causing physical injury, and resulting in separate convictions under this bylaw : }$ X" @6 C, |) _4 d( e' t" s0 K9 C) I
That has been made the subject of an order under the Dangerous Dogs Act ! |7 y9 Q; S$ J3 C2 T) g
Certified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club
