Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few * z( J/ a) M" t0 N: r& @
months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. ) N5 E" z. v; s, Z
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at % K1 B r) O: A' G6 {/ K0 K, n1 ]
least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. 0 o5 U6 k$ F' i; _
; H7 o4 m4 ~4 Z3 z: L# J+ s7 V# c; c# I* B$ X- g
There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face 5 m t& R, f: s; U- }% b! z1 M
of so much news. These reasons are: 1 R) D ~6 _4 P2 I

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and
% g. R9 v. G4 cin the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than
) k+ Q+ C4 C9 b ^, ]+ NArabia. 7 L6 n" ^* o2 {5 X5 g/ F; j! }7 c
- w7 z9 e. ^1 z# d) l- A' Y& d; }' }6 |7 Y
2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. ! ?9 w2 F# V' H7 ^ ?7 a7 B1 u! n! F
This is the largest find in North America. - m: a8 M; t$ X/ S) C7 v
) ]% f* n4 U& T: e" ~' B
/ M' T) t) H) s A3. New methods of injecting CO2 and surfactants into oil wells is ) x: f8 @ U$ l; b. h

fuel is being produced from many plants and algae. The production

" N& S# T* G* t& U6 ^racing to produce bio fuels.

o5 Z0 X0 u& p$ N$ G* x5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants
* [5 f. A# A0 C J4 ?7 tare now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,
( V( G! I1 Q5 _% j7 w z- ocattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat
5 W2 ?7 T. H; u- p* J" M) f) Y4 ?to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is ; ]! I5 h* I/ }, B7 \9 y& J9 f6 l( _
producing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

will replace oil.

older equipment such as trucks, airplanes, train engines, ships, etc.

: e2 @, i; y' t9 C# J+ dare experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new
. V" ]; R* x% z" @0 t% y; G8 Kequipment.

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- 7 q [# W Q$ u. O* H9 Z
fuel is cleaner and performs better than jet fuel. ! w+ f6 y. e$ _3 }

6 c) O4 a2 G6 V( w( h8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to
: K1 b7 ^5 }0 T u2 t/ xcapture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas , {7 t4 M7 l+ D' H# _( y
available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
/ k% G6 F1 L8 U4 ~( joil.

9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 # p, ~9 w+ j: S* P+ c5 Y6 @+ v6 F
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into
# _; A* F6 p% i9 H6 n: joil wells.

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy
; E9 n& Q( k. f! Z, d ]) Vsource. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US. + K5 L* @: N5 E0 {: X' L( b

" V; _; U+ Q" K, FEach of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the

With the above scenario, I still believe that there are under
