A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at $ ?; @8 q$ { `0 w
least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. 8 {7 `! h2 ?' A) |0 m, W0 e+ Q! M4 {

8 W4 @- i4 P) Y* Q6 LThere are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face / z% n- x& ]9 H# @

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and - r/ ?+ u# x6 P+ a; o
in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than

potential per acre in some cases is astounding. Many countries are 3 `- R3 ]& E* l7 r& w
racing to produce bio fuels.

8 O6 o w- W( Iare now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,

to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is
2 h$ d' k/ S& _: Z: Z: C; yproducing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

will replace oil.

' U* V7 r0 k$ C1 {are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new 9 {2 u9 f8 ^3 X& n0 A
equipment.

capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas

9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 , S! B9 U" {9 r7 b% g
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into 0 {3 r2 o5 O3 D( H9 W9 [) p( X
oil wells.

0 S ^* h! K& m* F' h$ e5 c10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy , x4 K& t( C' `, l( a
source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

to control oil prices.
