months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. 3 h$ z. w1 O* k" M' ~
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at * f' x5 G) w/ g+ R
least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is

are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new

fuel is cleaner and performs better than jet fuel.

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to

' F& `; ?. D" w2 Y2 K- Moil. 4 E. {6 V- T( b0 C" V: ~1 j

9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 , s# }2 a* {& H! Q3 O2 I$ e
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into + I: p/ |% C6 S$ B) b6 B3 k
oil wells.

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy
+ s! M+ q9 M+ i) B% ^8 a2 q: ssource. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US. ) I- i/ c8 H, L# [( o

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the $ S2 O# [* J, p6 ]7 @& N
price of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world ) Q, _% u6 @+ w2 T+ w% K
changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability ! ]1 ?7 e5 E. W3 I: _5 S" z6 f
