Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few
3 G" p: `& c2 j. Y0 i: ?) U9 Mmonths. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. & ]4 p: P0 F+ z0 E& r
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at
3 [+ y' L, A$ qleast $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and
I$ n1 g8 O1 i! ^in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than

) |7 D. H D8 ^+ e' N% s9 Z! L8 o5 X2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

being used to double their output.

% n' Y) E5 ^! H8 \5 e9 \& p3 C4. Production of bio-fuels is beginning to reach critical mass. Bio

$ F9 g3 k! D! X H! f$ I0 b+ Ipotential per acre in some cases is astounding. Many countries are
' i: B$ B9 n4 W& K( d, q- D/ Bracing to produce bio fuels.

5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants $ p9 F% v& A4 A8 A; x
are now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,
$ ^7 W6 V1 n+ z! |6 c2 w8 k" N% Y( H" hcattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat
. s. G8 Q2 D; I, P, G4 Lto bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is * Q9 f2 f; u! m, S6 g) Q2 i
producing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

4 f) c1 F6 q& Y- U) W2 q7 ]6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and * u% Q2 {# A& Z6 ~

expected to be built in the future. Much of the energy they produce

with new more fuel efficient equipment. Airlines and railway companies 9 o% g, M4 C8 C& @* A
are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new - d7 i+ _" m' F1 ]- I

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- % I1 _) j" A3 e9 E$ t3 I6 V
fuel is cleaner and performs better than jet fuel. 7 p2 A5 j( j/ Y2 b

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to # K( Q/ _! h, B
capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
" ~7 j! T ?' Iavailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude 1 S0 Y2 G) n9 |. D
oil.

9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2
- ~5 C; c& J1 [! \: c( K) y& pproduced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into

+ {9 [) b+ Z6 |% h7 i+ `) R# G; e5 c. G3 s, j- m
10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy
! M5 _& Z# v( f$ l" |" t4 zsource. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US. ' h2 i8 e1 w' k

changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability
