months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. $ q( a$ X) z: c# }7 G( b
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at ( j) f: }" g* x$ ` i
least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and 4 X# v0 O2 A* y( N

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

% F) X6 p+ T: d5 B( s& r! ~$ lracing to produce bio fuels.

cattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat
) U1 f0 I# R. g6 Y6 V8 y: \to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is
7 {/ P9 g* K* H- W/ Pproducing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

older equipment such as trucks, airplanes, train engines, ships, etc.

are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio-

+ G, L8 n' R( z" `+ S8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to % h; M) k" a! z" w4 e. Y
capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
/ `9 [ @5 ?' t, e+ vavailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
3 w) F' y- u! m8 O* O& qoil. ! p8 \. j' h- h/ ~- d6 J! m: [

9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 . j: H+ w$ O, J: A q
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into $ E K9 R7 U7 d5 ?9 z
oil wells. 7 [/ L; J9 r# W* M

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy
- g8 i* M8 N0 D9 y csource. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

to control oil prices.
