' h0 ]( U) [3 f! Y1 rmonths. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. % H2 \0 j) K9 }3 W7 w! J" g( U, I
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at
7 a7 o8 Y8 M( t% Y: {least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. ! N: [ h* R u

! I U- e' {& J9 l4 R4 F+ jThere are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants
@: Y$ {! @6 J* K; y: O) @2 n1 x6 Qare now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,
( t' ^% T0 A4 H/ c# ]3 c, M* B# qcattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat ( O/ g+ I, ?% c9 b) B4 n4 B
to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is
+ t, h) Z( a% K7 J& \3 Jproducing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and

will replace oil.

are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new

3 F! ?, M) `7 R6 \/ \Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- , _& }' b) |: L+ j

capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
) ~$ m7 ]$ M, X% `available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude 1 }: J. L2 u2 [. Q, V8 B
oil.

/ T' Z5 F- J3 p9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 : a( a2 q0 Y. ^
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into 0 s/ x0 `+ u8 X9 e( U5 s9 s
oil wells.

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy 8 N z# w8 b" j8 P) n9 r
source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US. : p# E- ~% F$ Y4 y/ ~

4 m: H+ s% a+ a5 ]; N" cEach of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the
0 D% ]- B' V6 Eprice of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world

to control oil prices.
