crude prices improves. This implies also to good names such as Shell, 7 O, ]4 G& U$ [! p& [; S
EXXON, BG, BP, Cheveron ....xyz.. oils M/ Q. G/ I/ ]. u
+ [5 r5 s2 E3 C) [ T2 QRecently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few
% O) z/ [# i! G4 ]months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan.
& y8 U% q2 ~! ~8 r! { KA year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at
4 w* @/ n4 b) B$ Wleast $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. 6 V1 c7 V6 Q9 F* L1 ^
+ y' }: F$ R% \+ o% B7 p b0 `6 R2 M1 ~
There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face
% k( Q2 g. g5 J! o- _( D" _of so much news. These reasons are:

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and

Arabia. 5 t6 ~/ Z/ c) P

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. 0 [. i9 V( |* D5 T
This is the largest find in North America.

being used to double their output.

are now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,

to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is ) ~- n. H& `- r% L2 ~+ w- C6 O
producing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and

expected to be built in the future. Much of the energy they produce

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- ! K+ Y6 t/ T% k0 }! Y0 _2 q
fuel is cleaner and performs better than jet fuel.

capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
" {- C, i! ^) X4 q" N$ mavailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
: T) n6 l4 K, q1 `: g) Voil.

9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 4 q( K0 s8 D8 `: z8 f4 }
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into

- C* q5 c/ A) I7 n; G" k0 \8 _+ U

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy ! L1 p& i3 ]2 D' p2 M+ q2 D! Y v
source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US. p0 Y( `; n* M4 {' k9 ~# a

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the * z8 |& m) t( q' D
price of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world
' n8 s) R# F X1 Y4 o$ ochanging. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability ) h& D- z, w" ]7 p7 ~
