EXXON, BG, BP, Cheveron ....xyz.. oils 6 Q7 t" w& Z4 J( L1 R3 I
9 Q( z* q% A2 K2 D& ?. r5 j1 ]Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few
7 b- L1 r$ c# j) X, `months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. % K9 @( |) b( k7 h' [
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at
( W( A3 _5 Z% c9 K( x! }least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

3 M5 D# ^. R$ t& B2 x" `! sThere are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face 5 r3 T" ~. }2 V$ j( U
of so much news. These reasons are:

U% N# K% }, q, f! f6 J. ]1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and 6 S5 d) t4 P1 R' `% l
in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than

% A- g& M1 q4 W) T8 y9 ]! ~) ]2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. # y* j% _) w+ l! K& P5 w2 X& {
This is the largest find in North America.

fuel is being produced from many plants and algae. The production

cattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat + C0 _6 J l* j, Q0 Y
to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is
4 h: d# K/ L9 |& P3 L* T. Zproducing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and

older equipment such as trucks, airplanes, train engines, ships, etc.

are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new 5 w6 i5 S. b8 l! S9 ^ P' o
equipment.

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio-

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to
0 a+ ~1 F2 I' t2 ]8 bcapture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
1 T" a7 k! p: e" J: yavailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
7 j7 T/ ?& E2 l0 l- ~3 E, uoil.

) H. M# O l6 L* V, z" r# ^& A3 p9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2
& T' g. [3 D2 R" E7 A) W. y/ u' tproduced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into
9 h4 r7 c# ~: r6 O1 d' joil wells.

source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

. Q; g$ V! a) B' w" [; rEach of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the
" e) Z% C, C6 Xprice of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world
& K( P5 s7 Q& y0 W* M xchanging. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability
! H0 G6 Q7 z! rto control oil prices.
