Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face 0 d$ Z1 d R# E0 _2 r1 s

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and
/ Q# t0 J) R8 ~in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than
% H; x, x5 H* D' F& f5 lArabia. 0 ~, r5 n' @3 w* x9 A" V. x( t- ?+ z3 T+ @

: e) C, a2 b- a" m! Y% y0 e9 ]2 c2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

racing to produce bio fuels.

producing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

will replace oil.

are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new ^1 N! Y) m- `2 c

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio-

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to 5 R: c6 s' }2 M0 b2 h1 ?8 g. U
capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas / T1 d: l2 u7 ]2 o) i5 d
available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude 9 Q q. h8 m2 h; k! }

9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2
. g- O ~; G7 vproduced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy
: Q4 u/ x5 P6 ?7 fsource. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability
