these oil producer will go bankrupt or out of the business even if ) ]8 M' q7 i9 g9 a
crude prices improves. This implies also to good names such as Shell,

' G5 `9 {) y: e1 H8 c6 O) G2 KRecently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few
/ _2 [! |' `# }! y. s" l) n/ y9 zmonths. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. ) N& F9 \0 G' i
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at ; W7 Q! {4 K0 A v G, A7 G/ T
least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. + V8 f1 L3 a& w; J

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face
# O% b7 v1 Y' `* M" ]8 R8 tof so much news. These reasons are:

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and
. `0 ~+ v, j, F3 O' K- @8 b; b# d/ x, @in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than 3 y8 R5 y. o6 q3 h% g R4 b
Arabia.

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. 7 B9 ]9 n# P- D4 x* j
This is the largest find in North America.

4. Production of bio-fuels is beginning to reach critical mass. Bio

/ B6 w6 D. ^5 Z; j9 I o& {racing to produce bio fuels.

) Y" V$ w2 G0 ]0 ^2 ~& A7 W5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants + @3 p' U% q0 G! j9 s
are now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,
3 ^2 o& a' M! u# i5 gcattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat 7 X6 t' M0 q' {2 M1 _
to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is
0 Q8 E' }) A3 x; U# x4 Nproducing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat. / e6 \# Z9 k# @5 r: C

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and
) U5 ]6 D+ i: r5 b/ j0 q0 Kconstruction around the world at this time. Several hundred more are & ^$ r# g; P5 I' U9 G
expected to be built in the future. Much of the energy they produce 0 F; V5 h0 z6 N- Y3 j
will replace oil.

older equipment such as trucks, airplanes, train engines, ships, etc.

' O+ n/ N1 g1 C0 c5 \are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new - H7 ]" ^; G& J* L
equipment.

" c( Z! |( D. @; E$ mAirlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- * i7 e, d' b. W/ }& P ]

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to , v9 X7 T, g9 A9 k
capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
% y9 i8 s% Y' F: I1 I5 a Lavailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
* y# w) E5 D4 x7 k- |" ^; N+ xoil.

9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2
9 c; o0 E$ l/ x$ t0 x/ xproduced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into

* U x5 W& j( W4 ^( W2 t10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy $ w1 Y7 Q) S2 P |- y
source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US. 1 a* Q# B4 l: T% R

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the $ X. E6 L1 u e" O$ L2 k
price of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world 9 U6 n! I( x7 _
changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability

With the above scenario, I still believe that there are under 0 J3 d0 L% B( U
performed OIL companies and probably they are yet to get the justified
