Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few : J- G1 ?( d% I) p9 U0 M! ]
months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan.

, r9 ]/ }, l7 F& l" Y D9 ]( A2 xleast $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio-

! q1 Z0 P7 C5 R Q8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to
# y, a# B0 t; M6 y/ K# U9 S3 Fcapture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
' u+ l- f, Q" [available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude / r1 g Z$ W( \% l" _* t
oil.

0 U9 B+ d) N; k# q/ A+ k# W9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 ! R6 Q7 D# H+ H. j, c0 g. y4 _
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into
9 r9 z% B( v5 |oil wells. - N8 a0 `' B" u
" F( Z G7 P& U# s
9 j1 T o) O/ G5 p7 z10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy 1 [6 i0 ^+ q" @# H2 Q
source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the 4 @: T; H& K# v6 w
price of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world
% \5 \) A% ~" J% O$ i/ ichanging. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability
