food at NAIT cafeteria
Their food is prepared by student at in house Culunery Dept ( student learn to cook ), under the supervision of instructor, practice various recipe according to the course, the result should be the same when compare with any other restaurant.

I# v9 r7 Q& W& H/ o7 g3 TThe reason of lower price than outside NAIT is -- they don't have to pay high advertisment, rent and wages, nor the huge amount of money invest to operate and run a restaurant, also they have steady customer of at least 1000 student everyday from Monday to friday, while most restaurant are busy on weekend, 1/2 full on weekdays./ @$ s4 B/ A0 ~* s# R2 k% C( o
The cafeteria is under funding from NAIT, therefore even selling at 20% below market prise can easily achieve reasonable profit margin. |
