Context: The Support Network, Edmonton's Crisis & 211 Centre, is looking for an innovative leader to join our team as the Supervisor of our Education Services Program. Hours are 28-35 hrs per week (negotiable), and may require some evenings/weekends - to start early to mid November. Responsibilities: coordinate program plans involving social entrepreneurship & target marketing; supervise Education Services staff; participate as a member of The Support Network's Leadership Team; assist in the development of program related budgets, reports, proposals; coordinate bookings/workshop development; expand & develop external relationships to benefit program; deliver workshops." c9 P \: b5 O3 W1 n
( [0 H6 H2 _" F0 U5 `You Have: post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent combination of education/training/experience; minimum 2 years supervisory experience; experience in Human Services and with business planning, marketing/program development; knowledge of suicide, family violence & crisis intervention.2 X$ x8 A3 ]- k5 {8 Q* `0 `, ~/ [0 G
U# j9 o o* `Plus: knowledge/experience with Adult Education; excellent written/oral communication & computer skills (including power point); the willingness to work with grace under pressure to meet deadlines; the ability to problem solve & the ability to work in a team environment.6 e9 T& q" S8 N, w! ^ Q
