Luan Wins Gold at 2008 Veteran World Championships.
Jujie Luan of Edmonton won gold in 50-59 Veteran Women's Foil yesterday at the Veterans World Championships in Limoges, France. Luan went undefeated in pool play. She received a bye in the first round of direct elimination matches, then defeated her next three opponents to make the final against Liudmila Chernova of Russia. Gianna Cirillo of Italy and Yumiko Tanaka of Japan won the two bronze medals. Luan is set to return to Edmonton from Limoges on Monday October 6, 2008. Sport Performance Weekly
