We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

Duties:
& }% c* e$ E# n( \8 ^. w• Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
& z, F/ ?4 P$ W/ B6 J: ~, F, M• Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.3 a! u$ J) i7 [; g
• Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
& f) M |" [* {7 w8 n' m7 B• Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.
) _2 v; A/ ]$ A+ [/ x/ }8 h- u) k3 ?. p' S* ]$ ?
Requirements:$ n& g8 o* H( j
• Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.7 s2 u" L3 |. e) @9 o! t
• Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.7 ~6 V; y1 U- e! `7 `
• Degree in the area of human services;; N# y, u e( s, g! s, K; E
• Able to travel extensively ;
, V! L7 h" D% q# `& W) O' B) O• Able to work in a team as well as independently;
' R* j) A& g v) q• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
6 C3 Y) q% \. R8 B! t& w• Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
9 v( f' F" m. f. D6 x+ x+ g! E• Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
