The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

7 {6 }0 B. A/ r2 J" G, oDuties:
) ^+ P( m- |) w•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
3 b, Q' |# u% y( f+ L9 y: D•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
) e5 _$ v) X# A1 @% O4 W" v* b•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

2 x( Z% e; ]" z% X1 }' \Requirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
+ t" [" ?, P) O•        Degree in the area of human services;
•        Able to travel extensively ;
2 V. x9 y4 G) u9 q2 E6 ~' L/ z•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
8 `& l- g; a: ~6 |5 S•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
