The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

Duties:
2 V" ?" E! C2 K3 n" f2 Z•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
, M5 [3 x; q1 J' l: M/ X6 ]•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
2 I' C  `) D3 u2 e•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
6 w0 t! k7 L4 P4 X  l/ Y; `•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

+ C  N% x; j7 J. M# M0 W* e# DRequirements:
" M& X+ E' h) ~•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
  }4 p! A: L6 d* K) [  }- Y•        Degree in the area of human services;
4 X: ^+ t+ ], E0 h•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
