Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

8 [( b8 L& [0 o. M; oJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
; s+ a4 q: S: s" Z% L$ i•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
5 g' ~! O. F( Y2 r•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
; E8 T: U4 k) H, k2 I8 ?•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
& n3 p9 T: i$ M•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
% s/ k) G. {$ U8 J# l" n•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
. F. a1 Z6 C$ ]& d, ]) d0 L5 ]•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
/ t+ R9 u; B: w0 P( }•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
: o& s, X) v. T0 X! U5 N•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
5 N4 ~, ~9 P- j: g•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
9 r( \0 L0 g5 r9 q•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
