Position: Youth Services Manager
" L4 [4 Z4 X. Z* MFull time position (35 hours each week)

# E7 Q: h, G; bJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
( R! a+ e; P& h+ D! u. G# A  j•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
+ d2 T* L# M! Y; A3 ^9 c5 Z% r! B9 r•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
8 W% U  K0 k- v0 l8 s$ t7 b•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
0 m6 L) g. T7 a6 h, g- x% ^•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
; n# r* D2 O0 K5 ^  c: N+ {7 Q•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
