Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
$ p0 z, Z; n* c+ NFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
, t7 {7 w) u2 t/ r7 S•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
4 U) c/ t, i  x- @3 p! c8 ~8 X6 L•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
5 `# A  c2 ]* L# N" E- a•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
) m$ e5 N( B6 v8 Q+ n+ l! g•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
( h, o; s' _- c6 A2 M7 d•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
" N* w) {" ?$ r# J•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

5 P3 c8 ?3 P# x" Q3 g/ T6 D•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
1 Q0 ~( v9 y1 F•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
