1 man dead in stabbing
6 v+ _% |5 f' t1 {; e. cMeanwhile, one male is dead and another is in police custody after an altercation between two groups in an alley early Sunday morning, according to an EPS press release.

At approximately 2:45 a.m. MT, officers spotted a vehicle being driven the wrong way on Gateway Boulevard near Whyte Avenue.% f4 A" {8 `6 v2 t
0 x# j7 y2 Z( d! H; t; C5 t- DUpon stopping the car, the officers learned that one of the passengers, a 24-year-old male, was seriously injured.

. @) j5 \4 [. A8 {% V K% w! ZHe was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.

A police investigation revealed that the three male occupants of the vehicle had been involved in a physical altercation with two other males and a female near an alley south of Whyte Avenue, between Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail, which resulted in one male being stabbed.: I4 d; Q0 t# y

The three suspects were located by police immediately following the vehicle stop. A 32-year-old male is in custody and charges are pending. n" t- R |, h1 x" F
