The pain of our loss is beyond anything we could
> have ever imagined. Over
> and over again people tell us that they could never

* E5 F( ^. d$ i3 V> depth of our loss. That is true. But we know of One
; J9 G8 `' s' Y  Z, D% R> who does understand and
* R  o  y/ k' G; ]' h! i> feel our pain because He lost His son, too. It
> happened when God gave the
> sinless life of His son ant the cross to redeem
> sinful lives and to purchase
4 h- R' N$ Z" |  m) J> forgiveness for us all. There days later, He raised
> His son from the dead
* c8 z( C* U  K; _5 {6 c2 @7 z! j> and conquered death. It is though this event where
> human history was
> intersected by divine grace and mercy that we have
> hope. This hope, that's
* C6 x5 ^! @1 c0 r$ M' x# {> what's sustaining us. It's not an idle wish, but a
* p. }! U: ^4 b+ W$ p+ B2 y) S' f> certainty based on the
4 [# p6 K- v" u, X& l9 W> promise of God. And this hope fills us with eager
> anticipation and a longing
2 j" V% T% y/ W> for the time when we shall be forever with the Lord.

> will ease the pain of our loss, as the Prince of
4 a' Q$ B' y* z; d6 f9 V. L  G> Peace comes to our hearts
> and says to be still and know that I am God.
