The pain of our loss is beyond anything we could

> and over again people tell us that they could never

> depth of our loss. That is true. But we know of One
' r! S& o  e2 L. D2 y> who does understand and
8 l, {' c+ \' A1 F% r  W> feel our pain because He lost His son, too. It
$ W% j* v8 j; R% c0 v> happened when God gave the
  P' U$ j* x. ?, x> sinless life of His son ant the cross to redeem
' B: ^2 J% R& M1 F6 y0 @- d& z> sinful lives and to purchase
> forgiveness for us all. There days later, He raised
  P, [& g; A+ W2 ^> His son from the dead
> and conquered death. It is though this event where
> human history was
> intersected by divine grace and mercy that we have
+ z# E+ Y& Z& X$ g# D; O> hope. This hope, that's
, c; G0 D4 ^5 x> what's sustaining us. It's not an idle wish, but a
" h5 [; w- Q8 ^7 B, V$ N3 V> certainty based on the
2 w  |$ ~& b8 O> promise of God. And this hope fills us with eager
% O2 j( ~: x4 F4 l' ]9 E/ q> anticipation and a longing
8 t9 S! a* s7 P> for the time when we shall be forever with the Lord.
> It is this hope that
> will ease the pain of our loss, as the Prince of
> Peace comes to our hearts
