Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

; g4 n( T2 |( t0 RMajor Responsibilities:
% W2 A1 v: u- \: X& v5 X% I. U' e: R• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.1 U {/ d( x0 l( }% D9 u
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
0 h' m) ?# |' `• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 1 f P, D$ H/ G, _/ J2 O
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office./ U# j& T1 |7 R3 W" l: s! K% l" N
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.( }; f$ v. f7 R6 }) U# r
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
( c# [+ z7 S \( e h• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.; `! w9 [6 Q7 n C B$ O
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive. g ?+ C- {0 s' q
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.$ v5 `7 O. v. {! h! J. n7 i" w: ^
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.' t: L6 t d- o6 R/ ]) D
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.5 Z! s. X6 m$ E/ g$ q5 D) h
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

Qualifications:& n' u1 i8 B8 o# t0 u
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
! g" D3 Z( u; c3 Z( A• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
( a) V* Y7 ~# T2 u: k* N• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. % g2 M. ]& G4 h
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
: N6 j4 H, e' m2 f5 ~" X• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential% z2 [) C) o' q4 m F6 Q) V$ q
• Not scared of heights
$ H. m+ t, O4 {; [' n Y8 l8 V• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
" `7 b1 _8 C6 H4 o! e7 G1 l& z2 q• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 4 w! Y* D4 ^, |4 H5 v+ h
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
