Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: & ?0 {+ Z6 v# }2 n: @
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
5 l! ^. j( r) `. w' x; q•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory., L( f& K% [7 _/ i/ }, H
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  $ H$ c( h+ r6 \& a
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
. |+ l: W5 c3 n4 E•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.2 U; m6 A$ H- |" _( T
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.& i% E) Q. Y7 u# |2 N
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:9 Q" {* Q' [1 G6 n' Y. a
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
: p- C: v+ `/ u: F•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
+ j- S! l) P# R% \•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. # R- Y; _' n1 i
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 5 a* B& X/ j$ P* o( Y3 s# M, ]
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
