Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
4 O V; y2 a. L& |4 u6 l& g$ N- C• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
% {4 A# q# ^* t• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.1 E* i8 I1 V% v& W, y" I
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 9 B7 Y( p5 w, K) E! F- Y3 I- ?5 a
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
& B7 P/ P/ i6 M: q7 y" E• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
; E5 K" x! ]% ]' P ]• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area." C( b* v) R" ]% [$ c
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
0 h( x5 M, }$ a) N5 z- ~• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
2 e9 {' H: G1 c/ h c- A: `• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy./ x8 c( v* E7 u4 y1 {
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.; F# I: H9 s$ o/ W, l
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

1 I* ]! i2 T4 i) o, U* D3 _$ g• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. . m# q8 S) C( z$ W6 d3 ~
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
) r4 @# c: @8 H( r% o• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ( j" x8 V8 q6 t; L- J
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- L, i+ }1 B1 y4 R( l* J* Y* ~• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

9 u7 q& _- z9 ^4 D) ]$ `% t" G0 b+ G• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
- R- n' k8 A2 ]7 v• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
