Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

& ~! l# U/ R, |: {Major Responsibilities:
1 h' Q/ p  h: \•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
/ {! X$ f: B, c0 I! r; n' l•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.! l! s( w- J. T, j) x
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
- G2 N  Q$ h$ `9 a•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
* `- ]8 V( }; `+ ^/ m( j' ?•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.% T. U& X1 |4 x: s0 r: P" ?- e
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
% p7 h% C. M0 z$ i5 A, a1 ?•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.1 I6 X: F  l/ |  B/ r! F  \& `& u  P
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.% Z' _$ B* I% ~5 G  u) p" ^
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
. @! a7 p0 f2 |* B+ [. z) C•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
* X9 n/ v* T0 M/ B9 `•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
& }% }+ M0 t0 A•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

" d1 g; X5 R/ o% u& r•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 8 h: M) n) y/ J3 o: l* p. Z
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. / U: B5 s, ^2 S
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. % ^- i: y/ j# N; E
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
