Major Responsibilities:
/ J1 q5 m$ d0 J! D* H• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations. y( y1 R7 \5 l( @ s7 q2 _ k- y
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.8 M% D' C, A/ y
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
. w$ ^$ o0 y! C" V• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
, ` F- ~3 l# K8 ^" W: N" e• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.9 [$ q1 P" G' `" \
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
, ~. q- G0 Q: ^$ ]• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.2 ^. N3 N. Z# D4 s1 c0 i* x+ q
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.3 Q0 U/ }5 K+ a. q9 P! ^
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.: ]- n% h& D8 K: ~
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.5 i& N) \. P/ ^7 S) n; a0 k
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
3 M- h7 Y4 J( m4 {8 f• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.% d) i V, F( b* l& W
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.: D" r% |' b I9 T& c4 J

Qualifications:
9 @* S+ ^" `: k• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
5 E5 a {! F" e8 O$ M• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
3 t0 a3 @$ q$ }/ X% {2 W• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 3 b' k9 G2 ]- `; Y% R, K+ e H$ X
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
8 @) ?$ f4 T( U+ F! Q• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential- J$ @3 x. d; C: ~7 r
• Not scared of heights
- Y; l8 W9 c/ F" U, a5 V• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other5 C# q+ e6 K6 }$ W1 Z6 F% x7 m
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
