加拿大权威杂志“Today's Parent” 杂志2008年九月刊评选出2008年全加拿大最佳25间学校。全国共有83间中小学被提名，其中包括爱城的学校12所。Ottewell(奥华)公立初中（760人）由于注重学生身心健康入围全加“Top 25”。爱城另一间入围学校是175人的私立女子初中Jean Forest Leadership Academy.
