EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.$ t- O+ a1 L7 J2 Q
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
$ m9 _7 P. s1 W2 n& R7 [; K4 GOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.! y8 H8 j0 G' R9 G' O+ |
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
