The Alberta Association of Immigrant Serving Agencies (AAISA) is an umbrella organization comprised of twenty immigrant-serving agencies in eight communities across Alberta. Its mandate is to provide an association by and through which the members can work towards addressing the needs of immigrants, the agencies that serve them and the larger community, which welcomes them.
5 y1 N# _/ [8 V& fThe Program Assistant will assist the Provincial Coordinator in all projects as required including duties such as: Y4 D" {7 Z9 C1 [8 e9 i G) W
• Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database etc.) H2 d$ L% ~' p/ T$ X5 m/ s
• File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.$ `3 o4 ^+ _; Y8 W* C! S: G% v
• Prepare agendas and make arrangements for committee, board, and other meetings.
9 O" i9 h0 `0 a) i# {• Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.

• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.7 S2 I/ a" s3 Z) x; y! [
• Flexibility in working with emerging priorities and timelines.
/ \! h$ P/ L/ |9 F• Strong knowledge of computer applications, including, spreadsheet, database, and word-processing; website development skills an asset./ |( ` C: k" ^
• Knowledge and/or experience in settlement and integration in Alberta.

• Ability and enjoyment for working independently with minimum supervision.
