今年刚开始学钓鱼,现在每次去都能钓上几条,好玩,还能改善生活,感觉很爽.

twin lakes are quite far away from Edmonton. it is over peace river and only has stocked RB trout, you have tons of choices if you are after trout.

Pigeon might be good if you have a walleye tag, Gull lake is pretty hard to fish right now, it is the best lake in the winter.

If you want to enjoy fishing and don't think perch is too small Sandy beach is a good select. It is only 20km far from St Albert along #2 highway. It is easy to fish. remenber 15 limited for perch.

They are between 15 to 20cm long. all fish is small there. I got a few trout but no one more than 20cm.

Sorry! I made a mistake. That small pool is not named Sandy beach. It just beside the #2 HW at Morinville on the way to Sandy beach.

it is called Morinville reservoir, very small perch, the largest is about 20cm, that is what I get by so far.

Cardiff trout pond in the golf course also has some perch and trout. very close.

The twin lake is near Rocky Mountain House,two hour drive from Edmonton.The good thing is that you can catch fish for sure,big or small. You wont return with empty hand. It is nice camping ground too.

if you don't care about the size, you may try Chickakoo lake and Sauer Lake, just half an hour from Edmonton.
