1 O( |3 v l1 |) R9 KThe Sourdough Raft Race Association is holding its 49th annual River Festival on Sunday, July 13, 2008! The event starts with a $3.00 pancake breakfast (8am -10 am) at Terwilligar Park. Prior to the rafts being launched at noon, there will be a variety of activities happening including face painting for kids, slip and slide fun and our infamous “get wet” water fight. The best locations along the river bank for spectators to watch the race are Laurier Park, Emily Murphy Park, Kinsmen Sport Centre Park and the highlight at Louise McKinnon, watch the rafters come through the Great Divide Waterfall. Rafts complete their voyage at Rafter’s Landing. Join us for a fun-filled day! $ ]1 a7 g; g% ~, p$ ^" c1 a
