% m" D2 u" _) a& i+ \Grandin out of School Care and Daycare is registered as a non-profit corporation.  Grandin has both a Daycare and Out of School Care in a shared building facility located at Grandin School.  September 1, 2008 we will become an After School Care Program exclusively.  

; h8 ]7 z! ?! `The Grandin Out of School Care Board of Directors is inviting applications for the temporary position of child care worker to start as soon as possible.  This is a full time summer temporary position with the possibility of progressing into a permanent position.  This position involves working directly with the care, programming, implementation of programming of school age children on site and on field trips off site.

' j3 \' c* D3 o1 t! G        Commitment to the ideals expressed in the Grandin Daycare mission statement and a desire to work together with sponsoring bodies:  Catholic School Board, Grandin Administration, Grandin OSC Board of Directors, Staff and Parents.
. K3 x% I, _7 I9 o4 M4 [8 s* M        Level 1, 2 or 3 childcare certification or equivalent education
# _8 q9 o. U- j3 y) C6 F) B        Experience working with school age children
# X% a- N; k2 \/ h        Responsible, ethical, good communication skills with parents and staff


RESPONSIBILITIES:

         Supervision of school age children in a summer Out of school care program in accordance with the city of Edmonton and province of Alberta licensing regulations and standards
         Providing nutritious snacks for school age children in an Out of School Care setting
        Supervision of school age children on field trips off site
