Coordinates and implements detailed space plans to address customer space

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (in order of importance. Other duties may

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of2 K8 |2 }5 @: M5 m
furniture specifications for client offices. Travels to client’s location to

2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,
3 E1 Z# [- w' y' V& T b& xproduct pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built
8 `4 D1 p p L7 x6 s2 {5 m$ Odrawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for
3 g! `, \ O, Bspecification and installation." F f9 y- J a! d9 q, n0 j
3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning, c: ?' ]% o8 ^; x+ Z3 ~- z$ `" R
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these
% y7 t1 ?9 H$ eneeds.
G9 H* n! S; d- e4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering5 A( t' I, p1 A
routine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.8 F3 M) f9 x& _. j7 b# |& u& q! t
5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction* F/ M3 P, T0 Y) U
plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job
! f% p7 g1 ^1 Q) m6 F: T& g6 j% Rsite in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence

6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect

7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,' K' Z1 d& z) p k9 I/ p
assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes" f- A0 O2 a1 e1 F. x+ O
and revisions.

9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.# @2 ^. K; X1 x `! I; B) a/ y
10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a
% Z. k5 D5 ~& `0 X( w- B. ]related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and: b# W' d5 n7 v
experience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general' h' i0 w: O! i' y( x' F c, W. V5 K
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.

Experience with furniture design and specification software required.
