JERUSALEM - Israel is sending disaster relief to China.

% A( x; Z* Z2 @- NForeign Ministry spokesman Arye Mekel says a plane is on the way to southern China carrying clothing, medical supplies, generators and tents for victims of the May 12 earthquake.

1 @% {, E x4 P& ]1 VMekel estimated the shipment was worth US$1.5 million and said it was due to arrive in China later today.
