: ]" J- |6 T+ E) w7 m/ `0 eWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele. n! Y( j8 T" F v
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
; Y! I! Z! T$ D( N4 y. mResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
3 J& D1 @ W+ R: n: ]: A8 W+ aProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
7 z2 h3 L* ]2 t- k6 K/ W, nWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff5 a& O1 a; C2 J6 K
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System+ ~* Q/ P( M! R$ v/ j
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
/ a' @ `- G/ A" p+ v$ T, T7 E2 tDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS/ \/ S* n+ ~8 J# x& e& e2 h
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases' p; g1 s* f; [/ \- R# W2 i) ^" L
Qualifications( |7 g, Z$ l; Z0 v) u/ T& t6 J
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program( Z8 f$ J: ^ o% H+ `
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
( y7 Q: P3 E% x h) F* P& tMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations5 M6 i, |! H, r* u, m
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
