. [0 t" T9 f0 B& GWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele, p/ l' A' b) G' O: W
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management4 Y( J/ V Q6 X* M2 P
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
; ]2 d9 n- A& O9 a2 z' ]( _2 oProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support: c6 g* A3 ]( i* X/ e% S) Y
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff6 o8 v4 o5 j# B0 J9 t
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System _8 \" D: \- p7 v6 {; ^
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP& v* r; {! e8 O+ x! j ]
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Qualifications
( M* k8 ^# B; a8 _Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program8 V& n7 ^# r9 K$ f, w6 e7 _& H
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
; h; U- X5 D$ O1 LMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations3 @0 T2 L$ K! d
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
- S! t. _3 S0 a$ lStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills) y# y9 m3 R* R; ^
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
