Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele

Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers

* ]- f6 Y2 N( \5 ^% X5 w( ~Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff

Qualifications( ?- a3 E4 P1 m, {7 X% }( v/ s2 u6 P4 j
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
2 m7 ^8 q3 G7 \# C* t' p0 ERecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer2 N7 w( |, I2 c
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations6 T% X- O' u @$ _4 l* T
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)) M8 R3 r a9 a
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
