Are you an immigrant woman who:
! s4 s) Y$ f  Y: @! z- n- O7 F
1 E! n( a' l0 t- t  N-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
$ K8 r. F* D3 R/ Z/ M- I7 P-  has taken an English language assessment test?
' X! i$ L; n( H" ^- N  m" Z-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

/ y/ X9 H" F; q! Z6 L; SIf the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program
& r1 `$ z- S* }" u
MAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
7 y. Z* t7 W# U' V$ {2 B+ aOpportunity to develop your English Language skills.
7 |7 k3 y6 @, w6 o3 C: k' l6 ]. FOpportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
Information about community agencies and services.
, C# ~! A2 l' l5 r2 h" @3 aInformation about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
, H% h0 t1 J/ Z1 R0 x5 HContinued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
