% U+ o/ F, @9 Y, F# d! \这一首世界著名的诗，是德国籍牧师、同时也是神学家的Martin Niemöller牧师（1892-1984）于1945年所作。这首诗，可以说是他自己的反省，可比美圣奧斯定（St. Augustine of Hippo，354-430）的「忏悔录」，这首诗现在刻在Martin Niemöller牧师墓碑上，成为他死后，他的灵魂向神、向人无尽的忏悔。这位牧师在欧洲基督新教界颇具影响力，一九六一年，他甚至当选担任全球基督教（新教）界重要国际组织「普世教会协会（World Council of Churches, WCC）」的主席。这位牧师所以会有这样的忏悔，是因为年轻时，他曾一度拥护希特勒，並且一度反犹太人，但是后来自己反悔，公开反对希特勒、以及希特勒的反犹太运动。
