Wow. In edmonton, if we're talking about academics, then it is definitely going to be in the following order

2) Harry Ainlay/ |5 i% F; ~) S- w

Strathcona is more known for being a "jock" school - in other words, very athletic. It was also more populated with caucasians... I don't know if that's changed in the last 4/5 years... maybe there are more asians there now? Don't know. : l, ~: i8 ]% D/ |& z
9 g/ R, b. e0 @0 v6 _( q! ?Anyways, besides Strathcona being well known for sports, I have never really heard of it being well known for other attributes... Yes there is an AP program, but as far as I know, IB (as offered by Harry Ainlay) is still more renowned. Also... Harry Ainlay has a french immersion program. :)' s2 v( t" j8 z

For students that have a passion for arts:" n* k; w6 [: W% G6 ?8 _
Vic Comp used to be attractive for "artsy students", but now, the new Lillian Osbourne has taken its ranks for being an artsy school...+ K0 W. e x1 k2 k/ L/ [
& o4 K. \; I& ^+ U9 Q3 f5 @Otherwise, I still consider Old Scona and Harry Ainlay some of the better schools around in terms of academics :)+ H8 h( ~. K5 F* \' Y) ?
