Wow. In edmonton, if we're talking about academics, then it is definitely going to be in the following order

2) Harry Ainlay: l* d# `* t1 l0 H& G
3) Arch Bishop MacDonald# I' n2 D" z! W* j( L n& q
" L/ ?& R/ C5 Q% VStrathcona is more known for being a "jock" school - in other words, very athletic. It was also more populated with caucasians... I don't know if that's changed in the last 4/5 years... maybe there are more asians there now? Don't know.

Anyways, besides Strathcona being well known for sports, I have never really heard of it being well known for other attributes... Yes there is an AP program, but as far as I know, IB (as offered by Harry Ainlay) is still more renowned. Also... Harry Ainlay has a french immersion program. :)8 D& j8 q U+ O$ u

Vic Comp used to be attractive for "artsy students", but now, the new Lillian Osbourne has taken its ranks for being an artsy school...% O4 y2 \2 D' |3 l9 ^
1 [( e3 t5 p+ ^" P: e; xOtherwise, I still consider Old Scona and Harry Ainlay some of the better schools around in terms of academics :)
