- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly. C1 E; N3 E( K, R, z8 j
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker) R- t/ `, v/ f4 W
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team- H0 K# B; k% g. n3 T8 Z

Qualifications:

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services: l( M( L, X: Y X8 g, { ^& Z
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
2 @% g% o+ y- A' j- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
1 A7 {4 i: [ f- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members3 @5 v2 B" o" i* R
- update ASSIST website2 g- c! g& t1 v& l" z' w0 i% r
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
1 A8 c+ V; g! D0 L& o: S3 u- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services7 t3 Z; s9 z, i; X# K3 c$ O4 c
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
% `% M# x/ B+ o" N. h2 G- write quarterly and final reports for ISP& i2 L& z! s* v0 @( G6 s" k
- hold regular meetings with ISP team" V% l3 x* U* U) u% f# k6 m0 j
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time$ A0 y0 O4 V0 j9 G) o9 F

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education * j( `. ?4 |3 z" C
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills+ s9 u- B4 L" g6 N+ P7 {
- experience in community work and immigrant services
