EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。2 v. V0 \/ f# M

* G. s! D: l8 F5 n5 N7 M VThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
# r, J- e0 E) ]8 I6 B" xbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

( F0 k( t1 I8 ?+ Z: h) i# KTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
: Z- x# c' D; i: W, E. U* Z4 vof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different5 y, Q/ G1 p1 D6 M8 V
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.: U1 y/ Z2 p! @- i( N
