EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

( I% G! `8 X1 O时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

! J v0 r- ^, {1 Y/ a- l& b. PThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
: i( F" ?1 U' Z4 B# C; ~3 S% _becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

. J- S2 L: z7 H% W1 K {, c H* iTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
; E) \( r! v7 dof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different1 z7 s/ ^5 c: ?5 a
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.) w! E; L9 V" Q/ ^, i4 h$ F; g: W/ u
