EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。 A0 T$ E! ^* M* m% ]6 G& `, M

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。( @- q. y' W; g; a- \4 Q* y

1 p N+ t: ^' l6 ~9 t9 L6 `This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for+ c: \: H v' Q" h$ Y3 X
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
% r# f. `8 {( f1 Kof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different9 b% [5 M: S- o O
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.3 x E0 ^, j& F6 `; ^

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
