时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

# X7 q4 G0 F( m% xThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for8 H! X' j0 G) Y2 s! b7 |- p
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials4 Q+ v- G: G# j
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different2 q2 Z4 j7 }% D5 w6 r! W
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.% `0 S% v/ B7 R3 \% ~, ~
* P, M1 Y0 x% V( A- Q8 x5 pCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
