2 K3 M ?. \( ?8 Y. h" m. g% uThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for. U" ], Y: o& h$ x9 l
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

8 `* l+ P# `( ^; }2 aTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials: v2 O9 L- S5 t$ O
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different& ?7 [1 `, D9 d: ]
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
