EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for1 v" t0 _$ N$ P3 h
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.: L0 `5 m* ?% i; |# S) }6 T# a
( @( i7 F! H0 pTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials# ^' ~# B5 T$ c! y3 c y
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different' O8 Q: _8 }& {# K, }3 O' B
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events. q8 t( R. ^' ?. N; ^

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
