EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。6 ^* {+ J& U: I, |% b4 J* M

Description:
6 f7 L! ?% c) Z t) YThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for+ s) R5 q+ J. }+ Q: [
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.9 J# t2 K' \3 K# n! p# D

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
* J% a) K' Y" P8 L R& ?: F6 y1 ^of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different# C( J6 z9 ?; a! R( Y
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
