EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。% U6 u1 N# u, k: f* t& M2 X/ I
0 f" \) P0 s! i* _- m5 j' T时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

1 |) w; s/ d% f% y8 L0 HThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
- K. z- q8 d dbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

' \! h# S7 D. P9 t' Y: cTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials0 V4 g4 T9 O& ? J
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
3 U" |' }, e* xcertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
