This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
& ?; O: X) f& d1 D$ V" `$ ~* Cbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

3 v$ V' K- ?9 n1 HTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials: q7 ~4 \# [2 Z# L u
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
* R( [7 }; F! ~! [& Icertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events. Z) o/ @2 C( l/ F& p1 r

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
