This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
1 A. D D7 u# b5 l' f. xbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

! a* o) h Q l8 ^% o* XTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials8 G" _, X' W) I
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
" I& ^( P, v# n/ b/ `# ucertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.& a6 [4 m( @/ i' v

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
