时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。/ c/ h2 f# }9 b8 y

; k8 l. e: K% l1 l% J0 QThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for: A' H% H/ N) }6 K. u5 E& C
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.+ `/ D$ [+ |: S/ ?3 W3 d
8 N2 }% `" ?6 Z. h2 @) {1 ]* bTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials$ V) |4 v7 E7 `; L# ~6 n
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different7 Z6 M" h+ N/ H2 W" @) n9 h' ^

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
