EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。; l4 ]- R: o$ Z+ o: X+ M" s J
( F" T* t2 u, e: J) `时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

! H% }. [3 p8 t* E% T, ^' XThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for2 L/ Y% i/ c A( i: ^# M' M
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.; u8 g( f4 M' \; ]4 _
" p, d( i* L/ u% R6 hTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
, w& Q: ^' F2 E6 b: v9 S: B4 w4 K3 Eof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
H$ ^( t+ h# icertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
