This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for k3 X' C, o0 e( \7 C& U! b \% a
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials8 K9 z3 s0 l) `! D; [6 X5 y+ ]
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different) W. a& ^& P6 Q4 m
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.9 w0 T$ G4 m# j, [5 T+ D; J& r
