EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

/ p% @$ v2 s8 H4 S/ kThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for( n W# M% v2 @# n! H" G
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.* y2 z5 g% G* y' R- l
2 y7 w2 g* N% nTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials) s0 I# H# M3 I# o4 G) _, M
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different9 [; ^8 b, s4 e& p7 m6 I' G0 w
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.6 i: \) [! {- N& M' Q. n- R

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
