EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

1 M4 ^. M$ P! q; ~! i( Z# V p* FThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
+ Z1 ]6 }9 p3 C* v9 E" v9 t5 n) j! cbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.9 _7 ^: k- q7 F) L! W
2 b# \$ ~! K0 K8 [) o& UTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials0 A, M/ @6 L- m4 F
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different+ T }) s5 M5 q# d/ f% B8 l
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.6 F% ]2 ?6 i5 @) y5 t9 J

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
