; Y; M' P5 ]/ c" E$ ~) KEDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。) q: @: F% x3 _' r5 R3 L- J* ~; M! q

Description:
1 T2 c) F4 l: K+ q2 @This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for- L( p2 ^' z5 i- R- P3 I
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

% m! D* r$ ?* J9 `0 {Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials$ a/ D4 K6 h; W
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different( |$ }- v1 Z0 W4 x' r# [
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.% G/ K: |* A5 x& y. t; B# V6 P
8 f$ H$ S4 b- vCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
