地点：The Derrick Club, 3500 - 119st, edmonton

Description:
2 t" R! m/ S) P0 \This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
5 M8 O& ?2 K, `% [becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
$ a% s- w1 }- P) _of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different; m6 x6 `$ o5 }
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
