EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。2 h" d0 d* c3 m
& t( I0 ^1 m) {; d0 f& P时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

地点：The Derrick Club, 3500 - 119st, edmonton

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for- ]# c0 ]6 X8 Z8 N, N8 s
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
q9 B2 @5 c3 @/ [; `8 a- r1 _of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different1 X3 p( g. x3 g( W. d9 \ t* b
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
