EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
7 W( H$ d) S j; a; x! T/ ~- Hbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them., l7 @" ]+ k5 v: A
5 s/ p9 J4 U" U" o; s) bTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
: ?% z- s- [5 ~' M" Mof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different2 Y, L3 T I, {* D
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.$ d# y' \- S# M
1 s3 u! K) c3 c& ^2 Z5 K) h* eCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
