时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

$ s1 h/ g- W' r$ [: R( [" J" P4 s8 bThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for: j3 ~& q7 A/ B& u: {/ q5 m; G4 \
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.4 V$ A9 G( ~; L+ |! D( b
3 w9 Z$ P8 Z) S% [! mTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials6 K" ^( u0 s* K- g: l! _; m9 C
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different( y ^! S1 W0 N5 y; d
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
