EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。# F* W& A A7 T$ s+ ^5 ?4 d- o

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
1 X0 E8 j1 U0 d/ ^ Y* ~becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.
* L( s7 l }8 ?) w9 p* w) A; _0 i5 l/ T v6 s+ y/ \* D
Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials( l5 Q' z3 ]/ p
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different4 ]0 ~ T: W8 N. [! F5 S
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.1 j3 b1 m0 \) ^6 g4 l& ^
