' u% r; ~" C3 a3 X7 G( g {* ]EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

, Q4 }+ E1 z0 ~; O, jThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for' c, g4 E9 `" Q
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.$ x+ c [' s9 q/ U) F Y' N: w% v: S

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials& {! s/ v; n: y) H! j% @( G
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different( C) v. O; Q' l+ b7 f4 ~
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.4 w; ]2 f% O' ^" ~, x" P- H

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
