EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

9 n% _& m5 K. A7 ~3 QThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
, j7 G# O7 S' u4 l# K0 i) nbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.! a* F2 r H& N) i; _ N8 d

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
; Z' T8 P; d/ H: Q# [- Fof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
# \/ L% n+ u# @; v4 e! Gcertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
