EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。2 y. _' R3 Q3 }

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for/ v& Q, `: B$ ]# B5 U0 n- F& K
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them./ h4 n" r4 C1 A2 ?$ C3 K* \* f

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
* U/ z, P. `$ z3 O& |+ xof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different' F1 k: W- G$ q) S. i* w
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.3 [4 B1 @1 z0 \! p7 }3 F6 b/ M
2 G! T9 i& e2 r2 |0 v( |3 m8 B. S: NCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
