EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

3 I0 R' s/ }+ j! S5 c' ^2 mThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
9 C5 b, h5 p7 J) a* U8 m) I5 x2 `becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them./ n9 V$ H z" F: Z, X) L( Q

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
" P" Q! P/ X; Y4 w8 n: @3 `of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different

& E0 b( n) \0 g" p7 |" D6 g! `Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
