This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
+ V- Z* ^; n3 |0 C3 a4 ?becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

# v8 i0 s' _6 d D0 i1 KTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
) Y( ?/ K- g8 C+ L0 [of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different3 s9 I, n0 p+ b2 V" \* J. N3 I( b
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.7 z$ V4 M. f& X. z6 G9 S3 @
7 G9 l8 ?) r6 l% J3 D. \Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
