7 @, e6 S8 F+ ^$ d* qThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for; A. i, F4 ^( t3 i, E/ s
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.6 [5 A# M. _! s6 b2 U, c

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
8 \" i+ E( w+ v% A* L: Q7 iof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different0 \8 h+ G/ p% k- m1 X5 e& i
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.3 \3 X ~5 P1 j
