EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

Description:
5 V0 w9 _4 f" B' SThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for. g# Z$ u+ ]% r" r5 U
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.% H1 {. s3 v+ {+ {+ n

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
' `3 \: [5 U' x9 V0 C4 g8 M) `of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different7 N- |. @, L+ x, l3 F4 L
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.3 d6 \' Y6 K5 t, n7 k d
% q0 q" n5 ]" J% D9 p% }Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
