时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。4 a2 g" k; \ Q$ k4 u2 L

地点:The Derrick Club, 3500 - 119st, edmonton

7 U( e" d7 N5 C8 N) i- yThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
0 _ Q8 X9 d* |) V- w& Nbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them./ J9 x3 z: G) u! C
# T; `. C7 k% S3 ETrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials7 K n! R6 E4 s- W& Q
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different7 `# F3 p$ y3 @" ~8 P# Y L
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events., C: P2 I6 o& W* D$ {; B* V, g

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
