This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
( P; Z+ L$ W. X3 T$ z u; sbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

# \$ y& t# w- oTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
6 j' n. e, E3 C2 Yof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different8 h" h) }1 [0 d: h" k0 L
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.7 \/ ]! I. o6 P) |5 w# |! A: f6 ~
