) }8 \( r1 C2 X. XEDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for r6 u9 Q% d/ P0 J# v* E4 P6 W6 l
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.* o- T3 Z, R% S8 f- \0 h- W

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials; O0 |8 H" J6 p
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
4 G7 G7 t, v5 w) n. p. l' Fcertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
