时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。( \' M( I5 n6 k( R: k

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for1 h( r+ `0 G7 b, e! m: }( t+ A
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.1 x" ~+ E4 @: t' e6 Y7 _

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials5 u6 Z/ `! g) v, f% d9 g2 V
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different) K- P; g& v! q7 g$ L
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.& N$ y2 e" k: J% I w9 _1 `
9 A" R: ?4 h; Z5 O5 V+ Y5 sCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
