时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。! D4 b2 ?# \9 [* w

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
1 S' _. y7 G* n- q D6 nbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

, W/ X( H$ f" P4 _, Q2 q+ t7 n- BTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials! r+ r: K. Q! h
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different) g: `# X8 A: l9 }
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events." G% _) U, {) e0 a* c. Q3 ?3 ^6 |4 X; I
' s x" I# W( D* L- Z5 r$ SCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
