8 n7 Q' O; |8 p$ [3 j9 hThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
1 P1 X9 Q# [3 V* t( B) {4 Qbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them." z( _, T' l- z0 G- E

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials9 [! d' H6 S+ H% _
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different; a1 y' z; ^' \/ t( b1 V0 D
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
