EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。! g, I/ b$ M8 P0 \

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
1 c! n g- d; ]; tbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.' f; Q. Z _5 \6 x+ b1 e

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials+ i# c* |+ V1 i5 g, U6 s1 @: y
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different8 g. f9 v g; z; Q0 t. ^7 m$ b r; d, i
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.4 u$ ~* X$ c+ |4 g* i) G

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
