时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。 l: z) K. [& d6 ]

Description:
9 X& M1 I5 C: X# S# L8 ?! s" ?This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for) F/ H Y% [3 w$ ~) V- {* z/ [
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.6 A7 R3 }4 @8 ^2 O% E9 b/ u

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials2 X- R2 Y; \; \$ ^) \2 R: K
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different' {2 n8 Z6 |3 z
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.2 x x b+ G1 X3 S7 E- r& {: w5 V+ X
( S- F$ T% i& Y; e0 O1 T$ sCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
