EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for, s7 _" H$ a o, o2 A* I
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.% J4 F; I; g6 f E* \6 j+ w$ s

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
- t B! U. j e/ X4 h9 W* ]of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different; C& X {" f* ?( I% y
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.1 Z; Z7 K r6 h' A% b$ D" Y7 Y0 J0 r
