EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

报名方式：发邮件到officiating@edba.ab.ca 报名。另外，报名时注明你的姓名、电话、电邮地址，并特别问清楚培训的地点，因为原来的地址可能有变。他们收到你的邮件后就会给你发一封确认的邮件。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for, d9 P& |# |; r" G4 y; C
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
; A. K2 d K( X3 p9 I( y0 Yof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different4 C5 V1 P& O! d1 |
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.( O% M: |! r; {) e( }4 I

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
