4 x2 L. L' I3 I9 j3 dThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for3 V. B- T8 \8 D0 r
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
2 J- D9 K9 O; R/ C) _; h. Oof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different1 K& e' E9 m' m$ @& Z3 T% }$ F. u" p
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
