EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

- F2 z7 O) S( b7 R' cThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
' t3 M+ e! X. E% y/ \ j% Q3 R# W' {0 Dbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.6 w5 w+ T' w* f$ {( x4 ^0 {
8 ^9 Z% \) x. }0 j) X/ bTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials, u0 v* d* J* A5 y8 S% W
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different8 {* J: @) L% v/ q
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.+ I+ _) E: y% h6 s7 k: i1 Z
+ _/ b( k9 l6 C" U FCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
