EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。9 g, u2 g t# `0 Q3 R. @+ U

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
' `, E! t0 W7 c) |4 Qbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.3 X/ ^2 p; L1 M4 ?! w; A; B

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
9 p: b2 L8 u+ O$ c `7 Yof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different& x; B& F# r7 a& s
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.

0 J: S" `1 ?- u$ TCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
