2 I& m/ E3 `" nThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
& _8 }1 o+ u# Z* Y) Q, k1 }' mbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

1 K2 p8 b u: g3 O, {Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
" @* C$ G1 K( O5 |+ Cof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different4 T) M5 R9 z1 E: g" A7 ?- p
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.1 R4 j! v l- Y2 f" x; d

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
