: g6 i; Q0 R# |+ c% K4 lThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for+ T/ E4 y5 Z6 f( K- s7 I# w2 N# Z' }
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.1 _1 h9 }/ }5 y4 O9 j
$ C ~ _# L2 I, N' Y0 PTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials+ N" S& o8 d7 p) Y2 @
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
