EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。7 Z1 ?- S* z% a& e5 g5 t$ {

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。7 ?, ~4 V$ D$ w

- X2 Q6 j, P# uThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
# _0 q& q! Y7 d2 Q6 S6 w' Ebecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them., r0 T2 P& h+ C! O2 V( e; _3 I

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
, b- q1 o5 V) ~( d" Q" Qof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different' ~1 ]. B( _# `8 {8 m
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.9 I. L6 U# K& q* v: M F4 i. J5 |. ~

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
