EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for: D1 k8 w/ [" M/ j; m& j" J) I9 b
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials0 Y% V( I% ]8 b# p( T1 J
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different+ s4 r) L3 w) t2 z, P
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.7 P4 s# ]6 Y7 K2 L0 M% R

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
