时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

Description: D0 E/ @1 {7 u1 F* ^3 a! w
This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for1 b; Y8 ]1 @5 n( @
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.* e0 J" r$ @% a _2 O6 P

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials6 l: j/ c& v: n2 e
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different( N; |9 X% S. c3 O d: c
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.: ^, S" K- g- c% l
; L0 }8 N) g* u- @Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
