If the engine oil is frozen, what we can do? Can Block Heater works?

I think the engine oil in my car is frozen. I try to boost it with another car and it 's still not working.

Anyone can give me some suggestions?

我觉得block heater是管打火的，跟机油没关系。

there are a few kinds of BH that help cars start from extreme cold weather,
: L1 A9 u4 d2 ]basically ,  BH keep the car warm by heating up the oil pan-which keeps the engine oil from frozen, or by heating up the coolant, and keep the engine block warm.
% }  u* f3 T( m1 U9 O3 z8 B/ }Either way, the engine shall not be frozen with use of BH.

( T1 C9 A) G2 T) B9 T% o. vIf you do not have BH on ur car, by using synthetic oil you can also prevent oil frozen from happening.
- [/ q! R; f' K: x0 Y2 sA good synthetic oil, 5w20 or 5w 30 , or 3w 20 has a pure point of -30 to -40 degrees.

6 Q: s# @2 }6 DTow your car to somewhere warm and try to start after a while in warm place, or wait till the weather becomes warmer.

do you think using a hair dryer may help to warm up a car a little bit?

插电加热3小时，一般可以打着车。如果不行，可能电池电量不行了，应该用别的车BOOST。

: A$ J6 s/ H, c* U5 B0 B$ q! EBLOCK HEATER是通过加热发动机内的冷却液间接加热ENGINE OIL，降低油的粘度；同时使汽油的可燃性提高。
$ _( o( w4 V4 U- ^/ t2 H
  E6 R3 R/ ]+ |; A! k  {不行用表量量BLOCK HEATER的电阻，应该是50欧姆左右。
