Context: The Edmonton Social Planning Council is a not for profit organization that provides leadership to the community and its organizations in addressing social issues and effecting changes to social policy.

C+ o* n" {This position is responsible for: managing/promotion the ESPC Resource Library (including compiling & purchasing resources, retrieving/analyzing reference materials, promoting library materials & services, etc.); consulting with community partners about their social research priorities and needs (helping to inform the creation of new research partnerships and projects).8 S3 r7 c) r+ c! k! n P0 ~0 v) F5 `
" B! }* P9 p wPLUS: assisting with ongoing research projects (in particular, data and information retrieval and analysis, and report preparation) and various other responsibilities including, but not limited to, assisting in website maintenance.1 ~2 S! E! n# M a9 P7 v' f& O" X

The successful applicant will: hold a post secondary degree (or related experience) in the social sciences or a related field; have research & analytical skills/experience; possess excellent written/verbal communication skills; be well organized & have confident computer skills.+ g' F7 j' f' E
