ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
! `+ f: D: A# S% @5 V6 I% R, ztechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

. i/ W( g7 G( a" p" O* f1 Y5 Q- y. eQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
" e1 D' g! T8 O  p0 Jrelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
% q: L) {) c8 N( m; qfrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
5 B' c8 h- K9 P) srequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with

% K$ o1 X/ b; P* Eaccurate and complete research records.
