烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter
' v& k. I7 g* f• 1 cup sugar
4 v3 w0 t5 e4 y w( G( o b• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
0 x: n5 Z9 s# J8 s7 b• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
5 H3 f9 F( ?0 ?• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

PREPARATION:/ g$ F( g3 K: V4 [8 i8 P( j0 L
Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.

Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.; P9 `0 _% c/ F# ?) E. P

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。7 {+ V7 `0 v" W( o; H
beating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。: f9 \8 @/ {- w/ `
