  的装饰，却可以尽情秀出自己的风采、个性、特点。我们靠的是一份热情，凭
  的是一份执着，要的是你的参与，盼望的是你的捧场。

  First call for actors -- CSSA Evening Party for 2008 Chinese New Year

The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
$ v% }" N) j- q" g# i1 @& b  ?9 P this broad land.

7 a$ m: p. ^7 h* Y! T$ ^" ~We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
5 j7 h9 o7 w% {' h! P talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
" o5 j: M3 j. P& m/ y performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
" l! v% M6 a% k* h9 _2 H ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
( U" k6 q# e: C- @1 }6 | lot of fun, like what we did before.

# V. R+ e, a4 E9 C# ]As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
9 G/ D. f% s' O: G' u stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
  r' H1 m4 F( e5 N* m program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
6 U3 D1 `! e5 R  c: a& U# k comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.

Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
& Y/ P! \/ g# z4 Z8 `6 ` on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
' O  D  d  b$ Z* Z control.
