  欢乐吉祥的新年晚会在此招集演员~ 我们的晚会,自己的乐园。在这里，烦恼忧
  愁都与我们无关，舞姿歌声都发自我们心底。不需要专业的培训，也没有华丽
  的装饰，却可以尽情秀出自己的风采、个性、特点。我们靠的是一份热情，凭

5 D9 V3 Y; Q& |7 WThe Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
( r' n2 F! |7 V eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
& ^: Q2 Q" _0 k customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
this broad land.

We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
$ F# ?, h7 {/ l! D. Z  w* A contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
# z# B3 C1 E  x0 o9 I6 S performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
. M9 C8 O; g2 H! J& s* l4 v ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
lot of fun, like what we did before.

! z# {3 }5 x; z4 A& ^As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
, k; D) l/ {  h1 C  [9 t stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
% l" {9 k, M$ I2 P, T' M# y. k performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
( {! x' B( W8 D9 R) t CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.
; a/ S9 f1 N' g8 @! q
# U5 U# \  }) x- x. p) e" ~$ ^Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
4 r2 @0 t6 A: X on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
control.
