Programs/Services

• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends! x3 i$ l! a* G6 U6 I

• maintenance of appropriate reporting

External Relations

• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders1 B+ k8 { K$ h6 s7 R
• communicate the value of the organization to the public

) z- x+ t0 i% ]. v, a0 u• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups

% ]& L0 M( w! N& M' t3 @• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.9 @2 f) S! ?& }) o1 u
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

Qualifications
/ q3 U; h, d- d2 z. ^- University degree in a related field; # H9 G. e7 q3 T. x/ ~6 E
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;& |, [" A P0 o/ O7 f! [ o
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
; A7 m( u2 ~4 `5 |- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization ! r& @7 \4 P+ E
/ t% g; [, p/ n) O" ySalary
* c$ }" t! w# Z: T- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
