there currently is a new java devleoper position avaiable in IBM calgary for maintaining existing system potentially on new projects.
the position is a contract position for 3 to 6 month with good potential to extend it.

here's the short description of the position.
( `+ R  m& k0 \- L) IWork as part of the IBM team supporting our customer. Must be on site. There is no travel money available. 2 to 3 years experience in JAVA, J2EE, XML and DB2.
; \6 L. M/ ^! F2 c8 b7 h5 ANice to have exposure to Main Frame and any financial system
Must be really good in communication within the team and with customer.
- D  S$ H9 W* A, `) g: A4 u; Iif having experience of level 1/2 support, great.

. f" |) b1 w2 X& e8 }) Vthe key word would be java/j2ee/jsp/struts/commication skill/customer facing/team work/problem solving/troubleshooting/....it's a maintenance position at this time, but have potential working on projects.
the team care about the English skills and communication skills, so it is very important.
