2 ?4 H: [% n  p. x# D! KPh.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
! {+ \; J- L& d. D% O$ yenthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
  b# P! G- U& j# s% J3 L6 band circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
* K4 F. u& ]: m: u" r2 m! BPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
7 u/ f( Q6 {& r5 V5 D% I. [integrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
2 U- t/ l) v( S7 R7 X* Y; t(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
