Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

+ T$ _4 I3 I/ v8 DMy mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

( _# f9 P; V$ F+ r7 Z/ u- F1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?
