EDMONTON - A woman was killed Monday when the truck she was driving turned over and crushed her beneath its roof.* D/ Q% |& x( T1 I, a# z+ ?
- [) r# A1 g) o& ~5 ?8 UThe woman was driving a gravel truck two kilometres north of Westlock when it veered off the road. The truck rolled across Highway 44, trapping and crushing the woman in the cab.

" D A( c6 H1 h. s% H( XAudrey Wiedrick, 57, from Westlock, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to RCMP. She was not wearing a seat belt.
/ q) R: d$ e( p' ~0 VWiedrick worked for Alberta Highway Services and was hauling a water tank and asphalt packer when the accident occurred, said Jason Maloney, spokesman for the Alberta occupational health and safety office.

/ e. q9 ?. f+ v% b/ YIt is not known what caused the woman to drive the truck off the road. Occupational health and safety and the RCMP are investigating.

"The truck is considered a workplace, that was the driver's workplace," Maloney said, explaining why they are investigating.
