SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
- o" } l( V# {8 TSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 0 G# m' \# x# Z+ H4 Q
of Course Pack production.

, j/ j# `" S% c$ F; {% Q& F5 g6 [DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
& p T% @8 ]. d1 ~" h9 ~8 Z1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
/ h* _# S1 @7 _/ t$ iof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
) [8 Z* g" R- l- r7 l6 I [
3 D$ R0 @9 n2 s. ?1 V5 J2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
L# l$ C0 d5 K. O3 U1 w2 \% C# Pprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.5 ]: F* Z0 O! W# k
) _# q6 W$ G" m- Q8 N$ W5 E) v
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
7 s0 v: J( ^4 h& p; ^6 V2 Qcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and
3 j0 u2 M. d. T# k; n' M" ?keeping appropriate and accurate records.8 G; o* |9 F* l
2 Y) G& |+ Y& k' B. ]4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
: c# ]! L* }" |# _failures to the Operations Manager.

V4 d" Z+ l: o$ A" V5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, / ]( F, D4 s3 \
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.. W& U, a4 O) m E+ Z1 w7 W

7) To perform other job related duties as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:: H" g* h3 I# S9 Y: s
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.: K2 J' v: L2 w0 w6 T( c/ }
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication

# W* ?0 T/ Z) b
3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

6 }5 K* @9 K2 w6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
