JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
8 l2 k7 w% d# K$ ^. pSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical & u; Z% ^# c( L U$ ?/ P1 a. U
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 6 Q8 a; z+ K+ [% b
of Course Pack production.3 [1 P( |& o& J0 P" N
' X! B0 V9 j2 ]! L; y* m
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ n* e! z4 p7 [$ ]: Y6 @& M1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
* f0 i4 Q+ R& x1 I# }" Cof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing." w6 D/ n0 e$ `: _7 E6 \- x" A4 n
$ p6 e' Z: u5 ~) l9 V. A( C1 l$ K. k) ]2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
: y8 T* U9 n9 c$ L: U- C9 `4 mprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
! l4 b; k6 O6 L; y* o) o- G! T6 l4 h- e1 v
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of . L- _2 J3 e& Y+ K& j- Q
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and , T0 |* j: Z; _
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment , r" Z( c a3 }% i
failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,
( H# A7 X3 s+ H& z: b& Y2 oand adhere to regulations as appropriate.6 w5 H0 \+ R. M4 M' N# z
7 Q9 _; z% X( U6 z, e0 q6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
, t& }7 u# [' D9 Q1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.3 s6 {9 B; b, ~ s1 d' m# K! v
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication $ c( Z( g% x. r) P& w' w- J' W
skills.$ W* [' u3 {/ M6 Z/ A% j! _: r
% o1 E: L2 T+ g: j' f7 K3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.. s* X: m ?. _* w- C
9 Y9 L: R: Q) T5 V5 g- m4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
9 c8 W! ~! W4 h" [$ ~+ k3 ?' Q7 z2 A2 t- V' k
5) Ability to work in high stress environment.
