JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- , }+ G0 F' T4 r5 m
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
Q$ x# k" P3 u" PSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects : ~9 p; |2 ]$ K; @- U* p
of Course Pack production.( Z# ]5 W5 O+ N* T0 c6 [
9 [; a, Y- L0 @$ i( {9 N; g& RDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:) S8 h8 k2 P2 w6 F0 c" @9 E7 Q2 e( n
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning " f4 R7 e9 g* R) R" u, k2 y
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.: k0 y' g' u! p& H) `0 V

2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 5 {$ z* i4 c$ } B! Q
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

q! ?; r$ A3 B7 H/ W( v0 }% A3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
& S- b) a! v' y5 xcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and $ r, g" O2 h% a4 l, t- E
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

8 Y) L {: h- b4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
* S. `* j" ]0 h0 A+ e, b( |3 w; ]failures to the Operations Manager.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
2 h) x( y2 U1 D! i! G \. K2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
% T$ i7 s$ F3 V2 Y x% F' F% p% O8 b0 Y" gskills.! v* X& m1 z$ t0 g5 b
. c g( H1 D3 E4 y0 o3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
