Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and$ P9 g) F6 G% V9 E9 k
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft' {9 }# i, E- k5 P1 u$ d- b
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.5 r# @4 T4 _0 ^( {5 P
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
' c3 ?: T5 N5 u5 u( |artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.( m% b, A) Q" l+ s
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
$ B1 P6 w. N# F" R$ X' Uvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
% m& J' \, ?9 J4 ~' S9 Lrecyclables.
B/ g2 d1 x. RFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be5 g- ?6 z7 J& H% w3 W* j* S
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.9 j. u6 e" h4 c( f, V X6 ?. [
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
# o0 O0 ]1 v$ i3 X7 f0 T. R/ Kthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
$ F: m1 L2 s3 T4 z& K4 W# Q7 vhours are part of this crew’s duties. x+ U/ ~6 p9 [# B" q$ ^! H( |

festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide* l3 q Q1 G) F7 _5 ^0 C% M5 G
programs to visitors to the festival.! {' V+ g4 P; C! W+ s: r
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for1 I3 Y% F2 V- ^0 R7 C E+ s# F5 K" k
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
$ m* i% |4 Y& ?; _! W* N! e+ M* COffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
# p& B4 g* ~) K8 f* Oevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the

Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is" S$ e6 W# b: b$ y9 T; D6 N
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you, P" g* Z1 [1 V8 D
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
8 [% K7 N% T- P b0 DStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training- q7 x3 R# W. B3 P/ h
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
& Q5 Y! E5 m( aTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be# h; o0 _6 u. m
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as5 }( ]$ K% a+ [9 ~: V( F; G$ j( [
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
( \) D- p; I$ ~3 l1 Dstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
