Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the v# @3 h" B7 u

Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
) m3 `- t; Q* f t0 `$ M1 ^2 d+ ?work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft/ C j& b( Q' e
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
, F c0 `- ~( J/ E' ]! JChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the6 w' M& O* M. r6 ?# _
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.$ w8 s4 f5 [ ~1 }
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
0 m* F: ?* w& Kvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the2 C) S# J* u( \$ L
recyclables.9 b _/ J0 ]" S1 g8 K6 {
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be# r& G7 f! R- }( }9 q
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.5 z$ `' O: c# \/ y: f' _
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
5 C3 t+ {' _- w5 {2 O3 Z/ C( o& ^them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
( F K7 S: Z8 y1 K | _hours are part of this crew’s duties.
4 G, R& X& @& @% A) YInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the3 ? l3 Z: P+ s; k9 d6 B; T- M2 L$ T
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
m$ e" Q( S7 U5 Q. Xprograms to visitors to the festival.
) K$ P- [% W2 eKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
6 f- d% w% M4 H, \- C/ heveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
3 a% I9 o c5 D1 c3 SOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
! f& }) a. b- i# }" levents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the0 \4 i$ S0 ^8 P/ g+ _+ Q
festival.
8 X H8 x& y- \' Y7 aSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is7 i: o; c* @3 u7 K, F
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you) x s6 x \5 b8 K
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.% S5 Z+ w9 d4 B5 |' D' p0 V. l
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training% I' m6 m$ _- D
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
: b z& w* u9 ^" g1 O6 q6 yTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be( t; }2 v9 h b' S h# }
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as* _9 Z! A, s; h& X/ e' `" D
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival' o1 z) G6 C) {# y& {+ W" L
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
