Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

! ?. Y) w; l5 {6 [! B# a% U+ _ J3 SBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and5 N, P4 M' F0 P# s5 U
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft& a+ o: r6 b' [; V& e5 E
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
0 C' x9 L! l1 l: k/ u+ SChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
% \6 F! i' ^% b" \artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
4 \* T! y5 F) O. E, S* X8 CEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
- C! N* c$ T! A8 qvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
6 z V% j* j! T- xrecyclables.. V. a, X3 [% ^* y/ A% G8 k L" G6 V
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
8 F0 A Q# A; L* d0 \part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
9 C) U: y9 X D. f" WHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing" W; l- J0 M9 Y
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
" w! l% e u* {hours are part of this crew’s duties.3 r' i0 }- h% p! s
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the$ H% }. j- X) a% f8 G, x8 X. P
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
5 d% W2 N. L o) p1 kprograms to visitors to the festival., E, P4 i: d2 E( o: |( q
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
: X) z# ?. `' L, Q" neveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.+ g5 p8 S" v: T) _0 h% ?* ]- `# l
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
& v) U3 R4 O5 N, t$ ~events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
$ p/ H1 Y+ c. s9 ^festival. K; A2 w @+ x/ L/ A
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is, I: {. \! ? L5 U* h9 A; ?
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you+ A J$ E) g2 j; V# f& `7 Z# g% K
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.2 i% H% e, Y5 L
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training# f6 Y+ D+ ?, |4 w4 P
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
7 h* H, P o* n" ~. [ STransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be' b1 |8 L3 o( Y6 F% z
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as8 l. P h# _9 l5 P/ ~ W# r/ }
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival: r% h$ h* V2 @ P
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
