Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and6 y* b& q* X4 ]! g7 x
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
! c1 ?# @" h+ d. N5 l: iprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
7 p/ U% X& O" \: gChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the W: Z0 \; E- k, W( s; }. q
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
( \" s/ ^& L2 t: \Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
) ^& `0 g2 j* G( Jvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the, J" e/ E- V/ @. Q/ F( Y" i7 e# k
recyclables.$ a/ }8 V) z- x& l* O
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be

Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
2 p0 D: `) |# |* {! \2 }6 ~them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
& N' G. {# x. J7 e! khours are part of this crew’s duties.0 l3 s% h h+ N- h: F) T# G& w+ A- X
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
0 c) \$ I n! k7 o+ B! f" Mfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide4 U3 i6 y9 i& M! _
programs to visitors to the festival.# T$ C; `) S/ g( p
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
: p& {; n6 Q' `3 zeveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
9 s6 W9 M" G) T7 @2 pOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed( y) [ k0 I# P, ^$ n' u
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
+ y+ U* r, L3 ifestival.
# e+ }7 ^' K. O/ N' X1 sSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is# L8 G4 V1 M- v. F2 a( n
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you U3 f& J7 S! }3 ^
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.7 V4 U3 B) D9 G2 y. O
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training- _3 Y& B4 b5 r6 s0 W( h% `
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
# S- I5 X8 [/ k( GTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
: g/ D' H/ j! ]6 L/ d7 n+ u* xrequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
1 l5 N$ q( I8 d9 \* zairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
$ k% c/ L+ \/ O$ Y3 P' ~( }) n# }staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
