Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the; N$ S1 f/ |$ a/ p' \, |, ?

Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and7 J9 q1 O8 j$ m- H9 a v" q
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft+ O8 q2 D* T& J$ W5 Q9 C* H
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
: |- |8 z4 B; o% u+ O2 ]0 iChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
7 N7 i# A7 o5 i6 u) Q/ v- @artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.3 a) Y$ z: i0 m m6 p0 W
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
4 {" A% g* ]9 n9 A0 K& c0 dvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the1 |2 F5 B+ g& Y2 \: i: t1 W
recyclables.: Z7 f m8 g$ _
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be- t' h5 ^) _* S0 y: R6 l% {# D4 ~
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening., u$ K- g) P+ k4 W3 }9 v4 y ^
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
1 h' V; [# F$ ]+ S4 A+ Y+ I- P/ t4 Fthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late) V# ?! g/ I+ z. F) v8 z
hours are part of this crew’s duties.
" z0 C8 S! s. X3 r P8 GInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the2 e" O f% E% x( y
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide4 V- r9 S: }* q2 M8 E$ k$ @; s
programs to visitors to the festival.8 F% E2 G; L! H
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for) n( Y2 }: v% U8 N
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
2 n0 y# p1 m) ~5 n, p4 oOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed% t4 c7 Z) n; N2 Z- O! d
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the6 `: X/ F. S& ]; A
festival.
% s6 k5 G0 H- B/ D+ ? p6 G( j' sSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is" {; D( F1 ~6 i. j5 U
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
! \$ m" d4 j: G+ e, S( dare physically fit and ready for any emergency.
6 `% z, o, Q, e; bStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
/ U4 p+ U+ Y8 |- l, u8 i# i) D0 \9 e' e1 ?and/or understanding of back stage procedures.5 A) x+ d q# T# e8 n
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be# J% H9 d' c# V2 w Y
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as; {/ N4 ?; r4 L& f4 h7 x
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
4 P# }9 M, i% g2 p* z8 d0 @staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
