Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
; D8 J# X0 K ~# _! A' owork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
% `& y2 d( {' |. i3 n8 aprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.) h+ G& m( s: I/ \$ p
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the8 |& V" b- O+ J& s
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.$ _3 F* y4 S' ~; T' |# o) M/ \
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for: ?7 Y* C! O7 O# {
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
8 [) Q* \3 p+ J" Mrecyclables.
# E) ~1 N: a6 M3 c6 v6 oFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
" V" E( u( W) Z6 C) F; zpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.* q5 D( s# }" C$ g
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
) ?2 L* ]. c5 L! s; Ythem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
& l3 ^3 H0 ^, }: Fhours are part of this crew’s duties.
8 V$ ~# T9 ?2 s$ K2 bInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the. A! e+ V, d) ?9 a
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide5 d3 C+ L. L, P3 J
programs to visitors to the festival.1 D& Q& N5 n- u: \! O2 N7 I
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
1 M* z8 g# d. e& Ueveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
* T8 A& D; M& x* Q; JOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
1 b8 P1 C! w2 v/ V" G+ O, S0 Levents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
0 ~4 L& n5 J% s, }8 Ffestival.
r% P( u: g& b$ l4 X1 }0 vSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is% \: a$ q7 B% |) F; q& U8 w4 S5 @- Y
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you) A! B$ j" k/ }4 w4 v8 e9 b
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.1 _5 E* }- g( P0 F( c
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training: L; V" e5 q6 X0 K+ A) _
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.$ V9 e. j: U0 d. j# ?
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
9 h' s; ^! \1 H1 {1 _0 Urequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as, }% l" r/ Z, G3 g0 W
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
7 Y: z: M0 e7 T+ m. A) Z) zstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
