/ z9 ?, C J3 f& Nwork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
/ Y2 m/ Y8 a% L0 B, n5 B# X0 c) \" \prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.9 y$ k, w! W: A9 R g6 ?6 v
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
1 L/ z$ g, x( R* o, c. m6 S( hartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.5 E B/ t! a/ t+ l3 N; q' N
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
4 t: M! h- G; ?0 _" t& \5 Uvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
" ^8 W2 u/ \0 I0 `+ J# srecyclables.) C- M I+ n7 S9 d
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
. k: ]3 |* C2 p3 y+ g [" }. Q5 ipart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.5 l+ S( a- k a. d" Z4 e
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
8 R' D" b& T$ ^' a. othem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
- Z$ n ]5 p3 y8 Q% nhours are part of this crew’s duties.
8 K( [3 ?# ^+ Y! ?8 l. w) ~2 jInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
5 i, K3 X8 C0 s' Ofestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
9 ~, M, a4 o* x. N& y2 a+ a7 M7 Tprograms to visitors to the festival.6 @) ?, J4 o& ^4 f3 q0 {
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
# _. _( G- x, Y' t; b5 j+ u7 reveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
/ ~6 P5 C" B( {' b3 ?9 P/ tOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed8 N- V# M0 D% b* t% _
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the% [$ F; u, i; g
festival.$ H# _8 T& [: [
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is& ~7 g" K9 w4 w/ I4 C) E
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
1 L! ]* z# ^/ c2 Care physically fit and ready for any emergency.
, G, u* }/ Y/ a! NStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training3 Y( X+ n7 p' D5 V* \; u" u) [ @
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
7 Y' R9 v" k% |) MTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
6 ^8 ^ P& J- J1 }required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as" C0 D7 }6 _9 m
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
S) e- a: I5 {6 S$ T# E* x% {& K' \, istaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
