followings rare operatic performance.  The organizer has offered 2 free

award

Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at
SUB
8 E4 M+ ~7 G1 S8 @' {# Qtheatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2
0 r( k  I: y' w! X! U" }
instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
Achievements
in Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
8 g! M( R% n4 G5 p: f$ q+ BDevelopment
Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

% X3 M5 f2 l' y2 {- bperformance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
+ `2 W$ r& y. Kfew
+ w' X; t! S5 e6 [songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to

crowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
