Computer Operator - Night/Weekend required for Servus Credit Union

Fujitsu Consulting is seeking an experienced Computer Operator to provide system support and monitoring at a client location in Edmonton.  Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be required to work 12 hour rotating shifts, nights and weekends to provide 24/7 operational support on Production and User Acceptance systems.

Duties include monitoring primary application servers, job scheduling software, production file transfers, wide area network and automated tape backups.  Additionally, the Operator is required to monitor overnight production processes, perform adhoc user file backups and restores, perform annual process posting and printing, database backup and restores, create problem logs and contact on-call support staff to resolve Production issues.

Applicants should possess a minimum of a college education in Business Data Processing or Computer Science and have at least 2 years related experience in Computer Operations.  A working knowledge of Windows Server, Event Control Server, Microsoft SQL and Office suite are required.  The applicant should also possess network troubleshooting skills, good work ethics and be detail oriented.
