DOORPERSON (RATT)

# w+ _# n: I3 @5 iJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
. s6 `6 }( U/ Mpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* O1 W+ ~) _9 R- G" q3 Y  P1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
8 [7 k$ g* Q  V0 r5 G4 O( sand are University affiliated.
. I* N. ?* W9 g- d8 D! U
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
- i$ s3 |: _! U) N
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
* c- G$ W8 v3 k% @of garbage.

4 L; q1 A0 q+ ~4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
3 X( k+ u' Q8 vconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
) D$ ]' ?7 u0 J  B" O1 M5 p5 S* K
5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
& z/ p- n! _) O5 _; carea when required.

4 F6 ?& W& Y8 x* W% |, \4 a- Z( P6 ^6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
% G/ b; e- I2 y$ sManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
  R( A6 \. ?8 B! Cof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
% g* Y! b% g" x* f& p& G$ J: e: Q: s# mcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

9 h% R" F& `$ p4) Must be physically capable.

+ a2 N' q8 Z6 ^& k# h6 O5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
