DOORPERSON (RATT)

; v: h$ p0 J6 o& ]7 i1 E; x+ f6 {JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
! c9 S; r; F( G4 R9 L. C7 f  Hpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

4 C8 h( T2 W! j! B- ~( h1 b! gDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
, Y' x# N! K- q5 I- G$ Hand are University affiliated.
4 o4 O1 K, {( Q  P( _# f
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
: R: s: t; n* o% z
* ~- }6 J+ T3 t3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
$ p7 C9 w' q' L
. k; @( V& t  N6 B( o& _5 s4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

4 f& S# D; m3 f5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
" t. z5 @9 r' v6 Iarea when required.

6 o% I3 j9 p/ Y( d  l2 y6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

% L9 E& ?( g' t1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

9 Z8 r8 A7 _3 P& A/ _  E7 m2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

7 t% @5 }3 a9 i3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

4 D# H4 R9 o6 {- l1 hShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
