# i+ K% A  D1 g1.        Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.  
* @* M; T! ]5 y2.        Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.  
+ y9 A4 |: H; s$ d7 X3.        Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

1.        MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.  
0 \% p% G; v9 h; X1 D2.        Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
1 K3 s/ u$ Y* c) p" e3.        Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.  
: _+ e6 Q! _# w) v- n$ ~2 B+ X4.        Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
5.        Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.  
6.        Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.

8.        Able to travel frequently within and outside of China.
