1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.
% }' N" r+ e9 [4 Q2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.
- c1 q( |4 z2 G3 ]: d# y3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

% n# j/ p1 H5 F4 F |5 l, cPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

3 v8 h) s2 M R1 t! R: g# M& J1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.
1 }; W, a. L5 b$ V+ z0 L5 a5 A2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred./ q1 h) F2 }+ ?0 \! S5 _
3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.
6 I/ E0 m' N5 a9 l4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.

6. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
