27.5 hours a week.  $8.96 an hour.  Hours from 3 p.m. until 8:30  
p.m., Monday through Friday

$ g% ~* L7 l$ W( U0 `2 oJOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the  
Operations Manager and Senior Operations Manager-Food Services.

3 i5 ]: z2 W9 ADUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
1) Serve as cashier when required.
9 P, Q  R( H; {; g5 C7 T
2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.

, T# B' i$ g9 t/ ?3) Food preparation and cooking as required.

4) To follow stipulate of the Edmonton Board of Health.

5) Monitor product levels, order, receive and store food deliveries.

  o" x! l2 D/ \+ h. @1 j2 I0 l) A6) Perform monthly food inventory.

3 ~/ ]  ?3 `, X6 I0 y7) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
; x4 C- g  E* E; l. U8 @6 X1 T  @% Tshifts within Power Plant/RATT operating hours.

: a( b' `" d3 ?% Z+ U- q" A To perform other related duties as directed by the Manager.

! Q# p5 n2 @, ^- a; {QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum one year experience as a short order cook, thorough  
3 o& @$ F+ S& ^6 S, i5 Xknowledge of food handling and storage techniques.
1 f3 t! y- b3 \( V/ u
2) Previous experience with food inventories.
2 |* x# K" w; b! W
6 @- a2 x( J' s3) Cashier experience.
" a- b( H) n2 V2 @8 _+ X0 k' R4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Very good public and staff relations.

6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.

February 14/97/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hour (under negotiation) plus 50% discount on food
