Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the 1 y% M" l( q4 d Z
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,
; e) w3 a! f( a) s( v7 j1 Scleanliness and order in the bar.4 `' i; [" p& S! t

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:" q" U: `* r% K2 \+ S$ I
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and , C: M3 a% |- ]+ e& t* @1 U/ }- n# O
beverage items.

/ z1 n% x& W+ y1 ~2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the & j% a+ {$ Q, K# O$ r4 ?5 |
bar and debit floats.

3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of

3 u( p @, G! z6 s, y4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular
* z8 I, u' S, hattention to areas used by customers including bar counters and 5 b5 V0 v0 z' ~/ S
seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces., h- N) w# z- P3 R

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in $ |4 J$ H1 E0 U* Q' P
storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close * n+ S; l% N* l! s7 I- F0 v- V
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a 5 i' n$ ~ q+ M& }2 u
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in 6 h+ C2 a' w7 `
accordance with Students' Union policies.

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a

9) Other job related duties as required by the Operations Manager,

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.3 a* } \; o& ~3 Y

2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume

: ]% P% B5 ?. x( i3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in ! H5 s9 J m* x; p5 C8 ^
