JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the ' i( g) t$ S1 v' I1 N2 S# f- w' v

carrying out the procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of + e2 x+ A6 l( ]* R

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;' L* j% p1 g) h$ L! q5 ?8 V
1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage

2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a
- L6 G! i" u8 f- t& y2 a3 v `high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in
6 ~0 A8 R( n0 o/ s; q6 d [accordance with Students' Union policies.

3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the
( K' d) f7 b/ D3 I: _& V2 ftotal cash-out value of items sold on each shift.
) Y2 ^( f$ P# C5 H. j5 y/ x/ Q( |, O' U7 J' C4 H1 R) _ }. r) w2 v4 c7 S& R
4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness,
3 @" ]6 ]& ~* p5 B; S$ ~- vincluding regular bussing and wiping of tables, full ashtray removal 3 i3 R+ t5 x6 J
and ensuring floor surface cleanliness." ~' }, w" W J( a$ i( o9 s, i

5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate & t9 q+ ]/ p, F& |! Q9 q; `5 U( x& e
action when necessary in accordance with established Server 6 V7 o! x$ Z1 i* D( E# ^
intervention procedures and provincial liquor laws.

Authority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS;
& Q1 N! `( H6 E8 L1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.8 ~; n9 e7 O* \

2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based
8 r# G/ E& [, u8 i# doperation.
4 \& S, N: G+ x% I% u6 C
, p2 C* x- }) o) s. L3) Personal cleanliness and dress in accordance with Students' Union
: p9 B' z& ]. ]( h5 f; J9 J2 Lpolicy./ e+ F$ Q% U+ E4 f/ m* X

4) Experience operating an Interac terminal and processing charge % w2 g) p- E! }
card transactions.
